I just want to officially announce that I am now an auntie on the Harbie side. Yesterday my niece was born--the first R & V Harbertson grandchild. I don't want to steal any thunder, so no pics will be posted as of yet. But she is about the most perfect blend of my brother Derek and his wife Jenny. And so, since no name has been given yet, I think Jenerek is a fitting moniker for the moment.
She's beautiful. And I can feel the piece of heaven that she brought with her--clear across the ocean.

I love it! Why didn't I think about Jenerek as her name before? That's totally the middle name of our next child. And you're totally right - she is a little slice of heaven! It's amazing what her fresh little spirit brings to our home. She's definitely a keeper.
