1. I had the absolute most ridiculous experience in Primary last weekend. It was complete pandemonium. The story was great...three pages, single spaced of details. But, as I went to post it, I thought it might be an expose that really wasn't fair. So, just try to imagine holy mayhem...because that's what it was. If you want the full-story version, contact me, and I'll think about sending it to you.
2. A Poem, by Andi H. Britton
I'm getting eaten by mosquitoes...
They must be Muslim mosquitoes:
They've been fasting all day,
Now their feasting away.
On my blooood!
3. Speaking of Ramadan: This weekend marks the end of this year's fast. I was waiting to post something about it, because Aaron wanted to join in the feast at the mosque one of the evenings. We would often drive home at night and see the spread laid out at the local mosque. Regretfully, that hope never materialized. But, we're not too sad because, surprise!, we get a three-day weekend!! (Although I'm positive we'll spend most of it in the office.) But, it has been really cool to see tables and tables of dates and other traditional food sold on the streets. AND, I know I've already posted about this, but our Muslim African Mama made sure that we had plenty of Ramadan fare to sample. Mzuri sana!!
4. I drove by a herd of camels this morning on my way to work. A HERD of CAMELS. Aaron's convinced that they are an underutilized transporting resource in this country.
5. We are on a quest... And, if we are successful tomorrow in our quest, I will post about it. If not...I'll post about it.
6. I think it's time to give this here blog a face lift. I log on and immediately my blood-pressure rises several notches. It's much too busy for my liking these days. Sooooo. Not that anyone out there might even notice...or care, for that matter...but bear with the demolition and the remodeling phases. I make no promises about any aesthetic improvements, all I know is that it's got to change.
7. I think I'm eating for two these days. I'm pretty sure I have a tapeworm. I'll keep you posted on any developments there.
THE END.

tapeworm.....are you sure you're not pregnant?
Pretty darn sure...
Hmmm... whenever I eat for two, I always have to take a pre-natal vitamin. Wonder it that helps tapeworms any? Although, I think I would try to starve it out... just saying...
I love your adventures. They always make me laugh.
Andi, it's fun to read about all the interesting things you two are doing. What a cool experience. Live it up! Despite the teasing, I hope you don't have a baby in Kenya, that would be kind of... let's just say difficult. Things are well but busy here. Take care, Marinda
