The No. 9 and an Office with a View

As you might all be aware, today is September 9th. That would make the date 09-09-09. My lucky number has always been 8, but, this year of '09 has been very good to me and my extended family. We've had three weddings (mine being one of them...on the 9th), what will be seven baby girls, two trips to Kenya (maybe three) and a whole slew of other places, two mission calls, a successfully completed mission, a full-ride scholarship to BYU's law school, and many other blessings. So, I'm thinking No. 8 just might have to move over for No. 9.

Also, I'm sad to report that I've just been informed that today will officially be my last day in my "office" with a view. This perquisite came a little early in my career...and has been brought to an abrupt end.

And while I'll be happy to have a more official place to rest my bones at work, it certainly won't be as scenic.

Perhaps my focus will rejoice.
