It's not a sin to own a washer and dryer... It is not.
However.
It might be a sin to never stand back and marvel at how with minimal effort, oversight and back pain, clothes can be washed and dried and ready to wear.
Whites still white.
Colors still bright.
Shapes still resembling the couture it once was.
I think of all the things I left behind, I miss my Maytag the most.

I am consciously grateful for my washing machine EVERY day! Now I can appreciate it even more. Thanks!
When you come back, you're going to bury your face in a towel and say, "I can't believe how SOFT this is!"
Oh my gosh, now I probably don't appreciate them quite to the extent that you do... but yes. I am very, very, very grateful for our washer/dryer. We've had to do laundry at one of the parent's since October because ours went out. So not fun when you have a little squirt pooping out pants and spitting up gushes with the best of them. We finally fixed all of the issues last week and are now back in laundry business!! Hurray!
So, in not so lengy terms, Yes. I feel a tiny smidgen of your pain. Kind of. Sort of.
