So.
I'm going to do something somewhat uncharacteristic of myself.
Hopefully you'll forgive me.
But, as many of you know, I've recently relocated. And I'm looking for a job. The problem is...I'm only going to be in the area for a definite year. After that...well...the stars have yet to align. So...so far, the recruiters I've talked to aren't too excited about giving me the job of my dreams for only one definite year.
So, this morning, as I was getting ready for the day, I had a thought. A very clear thought. Something of a piece of personal revelation, I might say.
Here it is:
It was for me to put myself out there.
Revolutionary, no?
Sure.
Actually...it was for me to put myself out there to anyone who is looking for some freelance/independent contractor work in Human Resources, corporate event planning, and/or organizational development. At least until I find something more permanent...or indefinitely...at the moment, I'm not really sure what it all entails. Who knows?
But, just for the world to know: I'm here, at your service.
If you or anyone you know (if you trust me that much) have need of such service, please let me know. You can leave a comment with your contact info (your comment won't be published until I can review it...and I certainly won't publish any personal contact info), and I'll contact you for details.
So there...I said it. A little awkward, I know. But I think it was the right thing to do.
I hope to hear from someone out there.
Until then,
Go Irish!

How the heck are you!!?? It has been FOREVER! Yes, we are doing a lot better now. It just took some time. Good luck finding a job. Job hunting is definitely on my list of top ten things I hate doing. So good to here from you, Marci
You could always write a childrens book...that would help the both of us :)
