Git 'r Done

My life as a procrastinator extraordinaire is culminating this week, as it's a race against time...and against my procrastinator son...to check everything off of the TeuxDeux list.

Procrastinator son?  You ask.

Yes, the doctor told me that there's a pretty darn good chance that not only will I go past my due date...but that little boy Britton might need a little push to get pushing.

That's good and bad--depending on what we're talking about.

When talking about that looooooong list of things that I need to get done before D-day, this is very good news.

When talking about the state of my abdominal epidermis and lower lumbar, this is not such good news.

Either way,

It's a race.

Because, really, we're only talking a matter of a few days.

(Which, I've been told, *can* end up feeling like an eternity.  So we'll see if, when that time comes, I feel like I'm being chased by an ominous force, running with all my might to Chariots of Fire, but in slow-mo and not getting anywhere.  I have dreams about that.  They're usually nightmares.)

But, proudly, I have checked three major tasks off of my list this week:

1.  Work.
2.  30 - 40 page research project.
3.  Ordering my wedding pictures.

I'm on a roll, here, people!

(Kind of...the drafted research paper is still under review and the submit button hasn't actually been pushed on the order.  But, seriously, I'm giving myself props anyway.)

Some experience nesting in their final days of pregnancy.

I seem to experience a craving to tie up as many loose ends as possible.

And, in life as a procrastinator extraordinaire, there are more loose ends than I can feasibly tie up.

But I find this form of nesting to be a good thing.

Because tomorrow,

You never know,

Life just might change forever.
