Me: Yes. Yes you can see the blood vessels in his head.
Transparency is a blessing and a curse.
And a family inheritance:

Hot Spot
A mere two weeks after the 2nd Ultimate Road Trip, our country celebrated 232 years of independence. In light of such celebrations the favorite man in my life decided to pony-up the other half of a $400 plain ticket and make his way back home. It was a weekend not soon to be forgotten: burning fireworks ashes down shorts, late-night walks through the park, missed parades, family BBQ's, golfing and bumpin' block parties. But perhaps the most memorable event of the entire weekend started with a family's good intention.
Aaron, bless his pasty soul, has spent most of his summer in an office--and upon arrival his well-bronzed family was quick to point that out. I, being transparent myself, didn't really think much of it. I thought we would be content to glow together in the fading sunset.
However the next day, once I mentioned the word "swimming," it was as if fear and trepidation struck the image center of this male's ego. When stopping by to pick up his swimming suit, what should have been a 5-minute layover turned into a 35-minute makeover. Aaron decided that I would be more attracted to him if he were without his manly chest hair...and some of his family members decided that I would be more attracted to him if he had a spray-on tan. Thus--unbeknownst to Aaron's dad and me--the primping began.
The results were not entirely immediate. It wasn't until several hours later that the effects of this fury of fashion made themselves manifest. And, did they ever! For the record: the scene of oranged feet and paislied legs is indeed a sight to behold. If only I had had my camera!
Despite all of the drollery, and the fact that we never actually went swimming, this effort only endeared me to my Hot Spot (as I affectionately call him). But, in all honesty, I have to admit that I'm just glad they didn't spray his face...!

Down Right Hilarious!
So, Jenae is working in the beauty industry now (and doing quite well I might add) but it seems like any time I go out to visit, I become the PROJECT. Sometimes I am grateful. However, the last time I went out there. I came home looking just like this picture you posted!
So.... I get it.
