Well… Surprise! (To us all!) Turns out it wasn't a tapeworm.
As Mama Rosemary says…something is cooking.
We were trying to keep it a secret until we got home, but seeing how we have some visitors coming next weekend...it's going to be hard to hide it. So, we thought we'd spill the beans to everyone at once.
I've been to the Aga Khan--the best hospital in Mombasa. It's where all the mzungus and ex-pats go. The "scan" (as they say here in Kenya) shows that everything's in good order. I'm at about 18 weeks. I've been dead tired, but the bleh-ness has largely passed.
Little Miss Britton makes her debut September 4th...the Saturday before Labor Day. How fitting.
They say life is full of lots of unexpected surprises...and that has been all too true in the last year of our lives.
I think it's an understatement to say that we're excited.

I just got off the phone with Deek and we can't wait to meet Little Miss Andi. Reese can hardly contain her excitement as well. I bet they'll be the best of buddies - almost exactly 1 year apart! Kudos for hiding it so long. We can't wait to see you guys so soon!
Is this an april fools joke? either way you are in big trouble. if (and I hope it is) you should have let the cat out of the bag a few months ago!!! and if it's a joke... then you need to make it true ASAP!!!!! I love your guts and i'm so excited for you!!!

Yay!!!!! Oh my gosh!!!! We are sooooooooooooo excited. Mom just called and told me to get on your blog. I can't believe it!! Jeff is so happy. That will be so fun to have our babies so close :) I can't wait for you guys to get home!
