Concession

To all of those who think we're

Nerds
Tasteless
Heartless
Get-your-hopes-up-and-then-crush-them Kind of People

And to those of you who will never speak to us again:

April Fool's!

We thought the joke was rather timely...but we didn't think everyone would believe us!

And.  Apparently I have a lawsuit pending against me for plagiarism.

Those "scans", unfortunately, were not mine.  I admit.  They were of my very, very cute (and already born) first cousin once removed (or however that works).

Please forgive us for getting your hopes up too high.  We actually feel really bad about that.  But, it was just too good to pass up.

Someday, when it's the real deal, we hope that people will be equally as excited as they [initially] were today.

We love you all...and hope to someday soon truly announce Miss B. (or her brother).

We can guarantee that you'll be among the first to know...

(In the meantime, please don't hate us.)

Sneaky. David and I wanted to play an April Fools joke along similar lines, but we couldn't think of anything that wouldn't deeply upset a lot of people. (e.g., my brother sent me a text saying he'd heard we'd eloped and asking if mom and dad were mad. Nice. I also totally fell for that one.)

Speaking of, something is coming in the mail for everyone there...which is NOT a belated April Fools joke...

Wow. You totally got me! And I didn't think I fell for any tricks yesterday. Good one.

I am not mad at you I am mad at ME! I am so gullible. Should have known...

I was totally excited for you, especially because you chose my birthday as the due date for Miss B! That's okay, funny joke. Now to make up for it, you must name your firstborn after me, even if it isn't on my birthday!
You really should have a real baby of your own...it's quite fun! :)

Oh, you are good, very good. That was classic. I have to call Kiarah and let her know that, in fact, you are not pregnant. :)
