On the way home from work a few days ago, the matatu that we were in was actually playing a song that didn't damage my ears and soul.
It was another one of those songs that you can't avoid looking like a bobble head when you listen to it.
At least I couldn't.
I told Aaron to ask the "conductor" (not conductor of the music...but conductor of the matatu...kinda like conductor of the train) who the singer was.
He told me that was dumb.
I told him we've done dumber things here.
He had nothing on that.
So, he leaned forward and, because of the music, the conductor couldn't really hear him.
A loud conversation ensued.
Then suddenly the driver was trying to reach the CD cover while navigating chaos while the two female passengers next to the conductor were liaising and translating every step of the process.
OK, maybe it was dumb.
Certainly a bigger deal that I thought it would be.
But.
We got it.
