Wishes

Sometimes,

I sit in meetings,

wishing 

I had toothpicks

to prop up my droopy eyes.

And 

sometimes,

I sit in meetings,

wishing

I had paid attention 

in 8th grade physics,

because then,

I might have 

somewhat of a clue

of

what they're talking

about.
