Chapter Four

I don't know if you all know this, but I refer to my life with Aaron as

The Wisconsin Chronicles.

It all started, well, in Wisconsin.

Or actually in Salt Lake City and then moved to Wisconsin.

First, an awesome (and slightly awkward) five-minute conversation

Which turned into a frenetic three-week courtship.

Which then morphed into a two-year phone conversation,

Peppered with monthly four-hour flights.

Which then magically turned into an engagement,

That was finally solidified as a marriage.

But the chronies didn't stop there.

That then turned into a job hunt.

Which turned into an African Adventure.

Which turned us into fighting Leprechauns.

(In a place where cold winters lead to bounteous Thanksgivings.)

Which then landed us a dream job opportunity in our nation's capital.

Phew!

I'm a little tired.

(OK, OK, I'm a LOT tired.)

But in a good way.

(Or maybe it's just the kicking in my belly that's making me tired.  But, in a good way.)

And I'm feeling immensely grateful.

Despite the numerous changes of scenery, I really consider this only

Chapter Four.

The Fourth Chronicle, if you will.

Of the adventure that is my life with the one, the only, the fabulous, the Aace [sic] of my heart,

Mr. A. B.

Eastward, Ho!
