So a while back--a long while back--Aaron and I invited the missionaries to our house for dinner. After polishing off what would have been leftovers, the Elders asked if they could share a message with us.
Of course they could.
They talked about how every member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints should look for opportunities to share what we believe with other people. And then they told us of the success they were having with contacting people who first became interested in learning more about the Church through Mormon.org.
Then, as good missionaries do, they committed us to action: to establish a profile on Mormon.org. We agreed that we would. These good missionaries even followed-up with us. We, on the other hand, maybe weren't as good at keeping commitments as we would have liked to have thought we were.
Those missionaries have long since been transferred...and, well, so have we.
But I'm here to return and report that I finally followed through with my commitment.
I even put a snazzy little "i believe" button over there on the right. Compliments of Mormon.org. (They really do make e-missionary work easy!)
