Panacea...of Sorts

I love my mom.
For a lot of reasons.
But one of the biggest reasons lately is that,
Well,
She's full of all sorts of motherly advice.
Especially when it comes to any social, physical or emotional ailment that I might be experiencing.

She's got this go-to cure-all as of late.
She's convinced it's my ace-in-the-hole.


"Mom, I have this weird stomach ache."
"You know, pregnancy might be able to help you with that."

"Mom, I just feel like crying all the time."
"Just get pregnant, and then see how much you'll cry."

"Mom, I don't have anyone to hang out with."
"Having a baby helps you to win friends and influence people."


Are you picking up what she's putting down?


This woman whom I call mother is no longer satisfied in the joys of her own offspring...
She wants posterity.
In a bad, bad way.
And I can't say I blame her.

I'll proudly add to that little quiver of cuteness.

But for now, since there are no pics of bulging bellies to post,

11''.  Over the morning sickness.  Can use pony-tail elastics again.  Feeling very matronly.
